About Leicester Sangha

We are a part of the Community of Interbeing, a growing network of people in the UK who practice mindfulness and aspire to develop peace and happiness in ourselves and in the world by living according to the teachings on global ethics of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. His teachings, which can be followed by people of all ages and any religion or none, are notable for their emphasis on joy, engagement in the world, and integrating the practice of mindfulness into daily life.


Meetings take place take place on Saturday mornings, starting at 10.00 am –  on Zoom until further notice.

When this is for a Mindful Morning, we begin 10.00 and finish at 12.00.
This includes guided and silent meditation, indoor walking meditation, a reading and time for us to share and get to know each other.

On alternate Saturdays we meet at 10.00 for about half an hour to enjoy a Guided Meditation together.

Before Covid restrictions were in place, we met in the library of the Quaker Meeting House, Queen’s Road, Leicester; opposite Victoria Park.

All are welcome, no matter your level of experience. We are a friendly group, enjoying our practice together.
